David’s new role marks his return to banking, having retired in November 2020 after 40 years of working in the industry, most recently at Secure Trust Bank.

This follows the appointment of six new BDMs, and of Lynn-Marie Jameson to head the group’s new brand, One Stop Invoice Finance, which is set to launch soon.

David has said he was overjoyed to join OSBF at this time of growth.

“The prospect of being involved in another start-up is so exciting — I think the group has an excellent range of products to suit most funding needs,” he added.

“Andrew [Mackenzie, managing director at OSBF] and Lynn-Marie have recruited an excellent team and I hope I can help to build a successful business.

“I am very excited about the new company, working with colleagues on how to satisfy the funding needs of growing businesses.”

Commenting on David’s appointment, Lynn-Marie said she was delighted to have him on board.

“David’s wealth of knowledge and experience in the invoice finance industry is already proving invaluable.

“He has been a great sounding board for me and challenges decisions, exactly as a great NED should."
