.

A biking fan who has a soft for 'The Fun Bus'...

Jason Mcgee-Abe spoke to Mark Levy of Alternative Bridging Corporation...

1) How long have you been in the bridging industry and how did you get to where you are now?

I’ve been working in the industry for 6 years. To get where I am today has taken a lot of hard work but essentially getting on and knowing my brokers is crucial.

2) What is the most significant difference you see between your first and most recent days in bridging?

One that springs to mind is obviously that the Banks and building societies are not lending like they used to.

3) Which sports team do you support, if any, and why?

Saracens rugby team, my son is at the academy, and I have been an Arsenal fan and supported them ever since I was 5 years old.

4) If you could change one thing about the sector, what would it be?

Simply - The exit lenders.

5) If you could have one superpower, what would you choose and why?

Lol…..mmmmm I’d have to go with healing then as there is too much suffering in the world and if I had that power I could help many people.

6) What was the last film you saw and what did you think of it?

Last film I saw was Limitless with Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro. It’s about a writer who discovers a top-secret drug which bestows him with super human abilities – I wish I could have those abilities.

7) What would you put in room 101 if you had the chance?

I can’t really think of anything really.

8) What’s your favourite book?

Jason Leonard’s autobiography. I’m a massive rugby fan and reading about “The Fun Bus” is amazing. He’s holds the third highest number of international caps and still to this day is the world’s most capped forward. He won the highest international accolades possible: Grand Slams, a World Cup and also a British and Irish Lions Test series. Legend!

9) What do you expect to happen in the bridging finance industry over the next 12 months?

I think it will be relatively the same over the course of the next year. I don’t think there will be any huge changes, unless the banks start to lend again.

10) If you could do anything you wanted this Sunday, what would it be?

Blast about on my bike.
