Century Capital welcomes new COO

Specialist lender Century Capital has appointed James Wheeler as its new COO, Freddie Munford as portfolio manager, and Calypso Cox as its newest marketing intern.

James assumes the role of COO with reams of experience in IT and technology transformation within the financial services sector, joining from his role as an IT and technology consultant at StrideUp.

He is also supported by his senior roles across Enra Specialist Finance, Pepper and Landbay, the experience from which will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and innovation across the organisation.

Freddie brings a wealth of experience including several years working in Nick Candy's private office.

His expertise in prime central London property, coupled with a brief stint in estate agency, positions Freddie as a knowledgeable and key addition to the team.

Calypso takes up her role as a marketing intern, offering a distinctive blend of creativity and international experience to the Century Capital Marketing Internship Program.

Having previously contributed her skills to travel and hospitality in Hong Kong, Calypso is poised to bring fresh perspectives to the growing marketing team.

Paul Munford, CEO at Century Capital, commented: "We are thrilled to welcome James, Freddie and Calypso to the Century Capital family as we embark on an exciting start to 2024.

“Their diverse backgrounds and experiences will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in our continued growth and success.
