Ian returns to the specialist lender after a short stint at Bridge Invest — before this, he had worked at Aspen from February 2021 until November 2023 as head of sales.
In his new role as sales director, Ian will be responsible for the overall management of the BDM team.
Aspen has also appointed Mike Allen (right) as a BDM, who will focus on driving new relationships and deepening existing ones with brokers.
Mike joins the specialist lender from Octane Capital, where he previously worked as an internal BDM.

Also part of the sales team is Steve Gregory, who has been working at Aspen as a BDM since February 2022.
The latest recruits come on the back of Aspen’s raft of promotions across several other teams, as it lays the foundation for future growth.
“Recently we have made several key personnel decisions as we structure the business for £1bn in total lending, having recently hit the £500m mark,” said Jack Coombs, managing director at Aspen Bridging.
“The appointments of Ian and Mike, alongside Steve, creates a sales team with the motivated and experienced people needed to help deliver on our targets.”
