The completions have been a mixture of bridging, refurbishment, ground-up development and developer exit loans.
Justin has been working in the specialist lending market since 2013 and worked alongside Octane’s founders, Jonathan Samuels and Matt Smith during his time at Dragonfly Property Finance, before rejoining them as one of Octane’s first team members following its launch.

Commenting on his achievement, Justin said: “In 2013 when I first started working with Jonathan and Matt, I was new to the industry and had so much to learn about appetite, pricing and structuring deals properly.
“The service side of things was something that I brought from my previous roles as I had always worked with financial services brokers/advisers in one form or another.
“But with their guidance I have been able to use those skills to complete on a range of different deals; from bridges to full on development loans, from £150,000 right up to £15m, all of that would never have been possible without the wonderful support of my dedicated brokers.”
Jonathan Samuels, CEO at Octane, added: “This is a huge personal milestone for Justin, he has been integral to Octane’s rise and has personally delivered superb sales figures throughout his career.
“This number is testament to the determination and hard work he applies to complete deals on behalf of his brokers.
“He is a credit to the business, and we feel very fortunate to have him as part of the team.”
