Cohort Capital completes £12.4m facility for Mayfair acquisition

Cohort has completed a £12.4m 12-month bridging loan secured against a prime property on Charles Street, Mayfair which was being acquired for £20m.

The nine-bedroom property is almost 14,000 sq ft and includes a cinema, gym, wine cellar and a swimming pool.

The borrower sought Cohort Capital's assistance after facing delays with their previous lender, which jeopardised the completion of the purchase — Cohort provided the funding in just under 10 days.
