Interpath hires director to its financial services deal advisory practice

Interpath Advisory has hired Zohair Motiwala as a director for its financial services deal advisory practice.

He will support Nick Parkhouse who has headed up this function since joining Interpath in March 2024.

Zohair will also work alongside Stuart Mogg who leads Interpath’s financial services debt and capital advisory team, as well as securitisation lead Jenna Picken and head of restructuring for the practice Ed Boyle.

Zohair joins from investment bank Alantra where he was senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions in its financial institutions group.

There, he was the mergers and acquisitions team’s valuations and modelling leader, spearheading prominent transactions across banking, the debt purchase market and specialty finance.

“It is fantastic to have someone of Zohair’s calibre join our fast-growing financial services transactions team,” said Nick Parkhouse.

“The Interpath ethos, culture and approach has already gone down exceptionally well in the financial services debt advisory market where we have had great traction, and we can’t wait to launch our loan portfolio diligence team in September.

“Zohair now joins to help us begin our journey in the financial services M&A market where, in short order, we believe we can become a key advisor to the mid-market.”
