Fantasy Football Manager of the Month: League sees Red


We can today announce the latest winner of the Manager of the Month competition, exclusive for brokers, within the Fantasy Football Premier League, the largest fantasy football game in the world.

The competition, which is free to join, was launched by Dragonfly Property Finance in association with Bridging & Commercial.  Dragonfly, the London-based specialist short and medium-term lender, is providing each Manager of the Month, from September through to April, with the prize of an Apple TV, while the Overall Manager at the end of May next year will win the latest version of the iPad.

Competition at the top of the league was extremely close and only 2 points was the difference at the top. The winner of December’s Manager of the Month competition is Gavin Diamond.

Mark Posniak, Head of Marketing & Operations at Dragonfly Finance, stated: Congratulations to Gavin Diamond, whose team, Gav’s Red Army, registered a total of 368 points for December in the Dragonfly/B&C Fantasy Football league. Gav’s Red Army pipped Mike Tannenbaum’s team, named “Westcity Wanderers”, and Andrew Hosford’s “In The Pink”, who registered 366 and 360 points respectively.”

Most teams played around 6 games in December and the top 10 point-scoring performers were:

Nani (3 goals, 1 assist: 49 points), Valencia (1 goals, 7 assists: 47 points), Van Persie (4 goals, 3 assists: 46 points), Yakubu (7 goals: 45 points), S. Fletcher (5 goals: 39 points), Ba (5 goals: 38 points), Skrtel (1 goal, 1 assist: 38 points), Bale (3 goals, 2 assists: 36 points), Sturridge (3 goals, 2 assists: 35 points), Dempsey (3 goals, 1 assist: 33 points).
