Exclusive: First big bridging move of 2012

A principal bridging lender has exclusively announced to B&C the new appointment of a new underwriting

case manager, strengthening its specialist team of underwriters.

The new team member, Jack Broadbridge, makes the move to Omni Capital after three successful years in the position as a case manager who used to chase up valuations at bridging lender, Tiuta Plc.

Jack Broadbridge’s career in financial services spans the entire industry, with notable positions held within both the lender and the intermediary sectors. His varied career offers invaluable experience to Omni Capital’s underwriting team and his extensive knowledge will further consolidate Omni’s position as a leading bridging lender.

Prior to his role at Tiuta Plc, Jack Broadbridge held positions with short-term lenders UX Mortgages and Essex-based packager, LMS. In addition, he has also held positions in quality control functions with CoFunds, one of the UK’s leading investment fund management platforms.

As underwriting case manager, he will be working closely with underwriting manager Dena Thompson and will report to Omni Capital’s head of underwriting, Ed McAra.

Commenting on the move, Colin Sanders, chief executive officer of Omni Capital, said: “At Omni, we take pride in offering our intermediaries a complete 360-degree service proposition. Fundamental to this is our continuing ability to provide a bespoke underwriting capability that fully reflects the often complex and nuanced character of short-term lending.

“By adding individuals of Jack’s calibre to our already well-regarded and highly experienced team of senior underwriters, we prove our continuing commitment to long-term, value-adding investment. In this regard, Jack’s appointment is just the first of a number of exciting new announcements we plan to make in 2012.”
