Reward Funding makes trio of appointments

Reward Funding has made three managerial appointments across client relationships and business development.

The lender has appointed Gemma Carson (pictured above, far left) and Gareth Boardman (pictured above, far right), as relationship managers, along with Sarah Gaskin (pictured above, centre right) as BDM, to its Manchester city centre office.

The hires have been promoted by business growth in the North West.

Gemma has previous experience working in client relationship and underwriting roles at Assetz Capital and SDKA — in her primary focus will be on supporting new clients in meeting their ongoing funding requirements.

Gareth Boardman joins the firm from Lloyds Banking Group, and has 20 years of experience in commercial and private banking, including the past nine years as a commercial banking relationship manager — in his new role he will also support clients across the North West and contribute to Reward’s client portfolio.

In her new position as BDM, Sarah Gaskin will help to bolster the lender’s sales presence in the region and will help strengthen the lender’s network of commercial finance brokers and other intermediaries across the North West — simultaneously she will assist new businesses in funding their expansion plans.

The firm also recently promoted Harriet Gibbs as the company’s first ever sales director.

Steve Noble, regional managing director at Reward Funding in the West of the UK (pictured above, centre left), said: “We’ve experienced rapid growth in the region over the last 12 months and this is reflected in both these latest hires and the level of talent and expertise we can attract to the business.

“We’re really keen to keep this momentum going, with our expansion to date largely being fuelled by our pace and flexibility of lending and our capacity to fill the increasing funding void left by banks and other traditional lenders.

“Gemma, Gareth and Sarah each bring great commercial finance experience and vertical sector knowledge to the team.

“This, together with the appointment of Harriet, makes us a formidable team, and we look forward with real confidence.”
