EY reveals 2025 UK bridging market survey

EY has officially launched its annual UK bridging finance market survey, in collaboration with Bridging & Commercial.

For its eighth consecutive year, the bridging report will showcase valuable insight and forecasts into market trends over the past 12 months, and predictions for the next year.

This year, the report will feature pressing topics impacting the bridging landscape, with some new topics on  tackling fraud, the implementation of AI and the impact of UK general elections on bridging.

The survey will also highlight the average rates across various lending facets, including interest rates, origination fees and extension fee rates.

“The EY Bridging Survey is a valued source of insight and transparency to the market, and we are delighted to be teaming up with Bridging & Commercial Magazine for the eighth annual survey,” said Alex Araujo, partner and head of EY’s Specialty Finance Strategy & Transactions business.

Brokers and lenders conducting business in the bridging space can share their valuable insight here. Participants' names, including companies, will not be disclosed.

The survey closes on 3rd March.

"We’re thrilled to collaborate once again with EY to bring our loyal readers emerging trends and data—set to be exclusively unveiled in the March/April issue of Bridging & Commercial Magazine," commented Dhuha Al-Zaidi, magazine manager at Medianett Publishing.
