Carl joins STB CF from Lloyds Development Capital, part of Lloyds Banking Group, where he was a portfolio director.
He brings over 20 years of corporate finance and restructuring experience to the role, where he will work closely with key portfolio stakeholders to assist clients in driving growth.
Based in the firm’s Birmingham office, he will support businesses nationwide across the STB CF portfolio.
The news follows the release of STB’s 2024 preliminary results in which it recorded an 8.8% growth in lending balances to £3.6bn, despite a 12.6% decline in profit before tax.
Commenting on his appointment, Carl said: “In my new role, I will be supporting clients across a wide range of sectors, helping them navigate challenges and unlock further growth.
“Having worked with of both privately owned and private equity firms over the years, this new role will allow me to leverage this experience, supporting businesses across the UK.
“This is a great time to come on board, with significant opportunities for growth as we are committed to strategic expansion over the coming years.”
