B&C Awards 2025: Winners revealed

We are delighted to announce the winners of the B&C Awards 2025.

This year’s event, in association with Market Financial Solutions, took us into the opulent and dazzling world of the ton.

Over 720 guests were taken back in time to the Regency era, where a regal stately home, elegant attire, and a string quartet set the stage for a truly magical event.

This year’s judging process underwent a transformation, ensuring the industry itself crowned the diamonds of the season.

With the introduction of new award categories, even more jewels had the opportunity to shine, making this year’s accolades truly reflective of excellence within the sector.

In total, 26 winners were announced across the bridging, commercial, development, and BTL mortgage sectors.

Market Financial Solutions was bestowed with the honour of Bridging Lender of the Year, with Paresh Raja, CEO at Market Financial Solutions, commenting: "We are honoured to be named Bridging Lender of the year.

“While recognition isn’t the reason we do what we do, it’s a valuable moment to pause and reflect on the success we've achieved over the past 12 months.

“A huge congratulations has to go to the entire team for their hard work and dedication to providing an excellent service, without which this award would not have been possible.

“Congratulations as well to all the other winners and thank you to the Medianett team for hosting another fantastic award show."

Ross Commercial went home with the Best Bridging Newcomer — Broker award while Maslow Capital won Best Bridging Newcomer — Lender.

Emma Ross, managing director at Ross Commercial Finance, stated: “Winning a B has honestly been up there in my ‘top five’ on the bucket list.

“This means the world to our team, and we are so grateful to be nominated among such great competition.

“To be celebrating with Piotr [Twaits, managing director at Synergy Commercial Finance] means the world.

“Synergy Commercial Finance has been so supportive through everything."

“Our team had the best night and we are super thankful to all who voted for us.”

Mark Posniak, managing director of short-term finance at Maslow Capital said: "I’m immensely proud of the team behind this achievement.

"While the category may read “newcomer”, the expertise driving this win is anything but.

"This, our fourth B&C award across bridging and development finance, is a significant vote of confidence in the team’s hard work and the service Maslow Capital has provided to its clients over 16 years."

For Specialist Broker of the Year, Dynamo was the winner, while West One took home Specialist BTL Lender of the Year.

“We are tremendously pleased to have won Specialist BTL Lender of the Year and would like to thank our partners and clients.

"Their continued trust and support do not go unnoticed. In addition to the strategic direction of our BTL offering, there are many team members behind the scenes here at West One supporting our partners making a real difference to the service we provide to borrowers.

"Here's to another year of pushing the boundaries and continued excellence in specialist BTL lending.”

Century Capital emerged victorious with the accolade of Large Loan Lender of the Year.

Synergy Commercial Finance took the Best Specialist Distributor award home.

Commenting on the win, Piotr Twaits, managing director at Synergy Commercial Finance, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be recognised as Best Specialist Distributor.

“I may have got to collect the award, but it belongs to our entire network of brokers and the central support team who work tirelessly to ensure every client gets the best possible outcome.
