Quantum enhances bridging criteria

Quantum Mortgages has made a raft of updates to its bridging proposition, just months after its successful launch in March 2025.

The new offerings are designed to broaden access for landlords across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Key updates for the bridging proposition include bridging solutions being available in Northern Ireland, as well as the lender now supporting applications from foreign nationals and expats.

The firm will include ex-local authority properties in its bridging criteria while its updated criteria will also support semi-commercial properties, additionally, landlords and investors can now access bridging finance tailored to refurbishment needs, with a clear exit route onto a Quantum BTL mortgage.

“These updates reflect our ongoing dialogue with the intermediary community,” said Harsha Dahyea, CCO at Quantum Mortgages.

“We’re proud to once again deliver on our promise to support complex cases with practical, common-sense lending solutions.

“Whether it’s a landlord expanding their portfolio or an investor tackling a refurbishment, our bridging range is designed to evolve with the market.”

The news follows from the firm launching its bridging proposition in March.
