FSA to address bridging brokers

.

Further details of the Association of Bridging Professionals (AOBP) announcement made last week, that the first ever Quarterly Forum will be held on March 8th, have now been revealed.

It can now be confirmed that David Forsdyke of the FSA will be speaking and answering a selection of questions from the broker audience.

“We are very pleased to announce that David Forsdyke of the FSA will be attending this important event. The AOBP continues to develop and build on its relationship with the regulator; and the regulator, by its agreement to participate, demonstrates its willingness to explain current thinking.

“I hope the Forum will be seen as a real opportunity for attendees to put their views across with an aim to improving the FSA’s understanding of the sector,” commented AOBP Chairman, Jonathan Newman.

David Forsdyke has been a member of the FSA mortgage policy team since September 2009 and leads the policy work in a number of the niche markets, including regulated bridging finance.

David has previously been a branch manager for mortgage broker John Charcol and also ran his own mortgage advisory business.

For those who have yet to register for the event, which is being held at The Electric Cinema in Notting Hill, please email the AOBP secretary via
