Octane surpasses £2bn lending milestone
By Tara SammonsOctane Capital has lent over £2bn since launching in 2017, paying over £30m in broker commission in the process.
Jonathan Samuels, CEO at Octane (pictured above), commented: “This is a huge milestone for Octane.
“When we launched the business in 2017 the market was congested; we certainly didn’t expect to reach £2bn in lending before the company turned nine years old.
“This feat is a testament to the efforts of three important groups of people.
“Firstly, the Octane team; we have built a team who consistently deliver for our brokers (and their clients) and their hard work is the lifeblood of our business.
“Secondly, our broker community, who have loyally supported us over the years, introducing us to and packaging great deals.
“We are a broker-first brand and always will be.
“And finally, our expert network of professional partners, most notably our solicitors and valuers, without whom we couldn’t transact.
“We have huge plans for Octane over the next 12-18 months, ones that will propel us to £3bn in shorter order than the first £2bn!”
