Following the news that the lender entered administration last week, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist any former employees that are going through a significant financial hardship.
The BDLA subsequently reaffirmed its support for the wider industry, stating "despite the operational challenges that can arise in any economic climate, the sector remains strong, vibrant, and ready to lend."
Any staff impacted are encouraged to reach out directly through the GoFundMe page, with conversations being handled in strictest confidence via a small selected committee.
Any remaining funds will be donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice on 1st June.
