One of the biggest events in the calendars of financial intermediaries was held yesterday, the Manchester Mortgage Business Expo (MBE), which B&C was proud to be a part of.

The eagerly anticipated event, held at the Lancashire County Cricket Club (LCCC) did not fail to deliver, with a steady influx of attendants throughout the morning and afternoon, on what was quite possibly the hottest day of the year so far (even in Manchester!).

The Expo had a huge bridging presence, with some of the key lenders within the bridging industry exhibiting, which attracted a room full of brokers, financial advisers and service providers.

The lenders we spoke to, including those who are predominantly London-based, agree that Manchester presents some great lending opportunities particularly because the North is especially difficult for brokers to place a deal, but the opportunity to meet and mingle gave attendants a real confidence boost.

The B&C stand was visited by many a financial intermediary hoping to get more involved within the bridging market, taking this opportunity to become part of the only educational portal dedicated to this very sector.

As the bridging industry continues to up its profile throughout the entire financial market, we hope to see all those who attended again at the London MBE in November, as well as lots of new faces.
