Two weeks ago we
announced
the overall winner of the exclusive for brokers Manager of the Month competition, within the Fantasy Football Premier League, the largest fantasy football game in the world. However, it has come to light that the announced winner, ‘I.B.’, was not involved in the mortgage industry and was actually in Guyana! He has therefore been disqualified from the competition – which is exclusive to brokers – and the second placed manager, Shaun Vickery, has been contacted and informed that he is now the official winner.
The competition was launched by Dragonfly Property Finance in association with Bridging & Commercial. Dragonfly, the specialist London-based short and medium-term lender, provided each Manager of the Month during the season with the prize of an Apple TV.
Shaun’s prize for winning the Overall Manager of the Season is the latest version of the iPad.
This now means that results are even tighter at the top of the table, where only 28 points separated the top five managers in the league. Shaun’s ‘Letsbe Avenue’ amassed 2,125 points over the course of the competition, just seven points clear at the top.

Mark Posniak, Head of Marketing & Operations at Dragonfly Property Finance, commented: “It’s not all work, work, work and the competition was to offer brokers a bit of fun away from the phones and the intricacies of bridging finance.
“Brokers have won prizes over the course of the season and we’d like to congratulate Shaun Vickery on winning the Overall Manager of the Season prize.”
