Unique system launched to source foreign mortgages

Connect Overseas, the international mortgage specialist, is today launching a pioneering new online service for mortgage brokers that allows them to source and apply for international mortgages direct with the mortgage provider and get paid 100 per cent of the commission.

According to Geoff Simmonds, Head of Operations at Connect Overseas, the new facility provides brokers with all the tools and information they need to offer a fully comprehensive mortgage service to their clients.

He said: “The system we have devised gives brokers the best of both worlds. Either they can contact a bank directly for decision in principle or formal mortgage offer and get paid the full procuration fee, or they can apply using one of our support services, which includes our packaging service, quick refer service and off panel placement facility, to fit in with the way they want to work.”

A broker can install a website plugin for the system onto their own websites using their own logo and branding to go with it.

Brokers will have access to over 300 mortgage products from more than 30 different countries with the system and will also be able to utilise an array of tools and information on international product guides, rates, tips and market reports.

Geoff added: “The beauty of the service is that it opens up the doors of international mortgages to every broker. The system has been designed to be detailed yet simple to use, to give the broker the confidence to discuss foreign mortgages with their clients, regardless of their experience.  Members will also be able to access useful marketing tools, personalised quotations, case tracking facilities and complementary services through the system, as Connect Overseas Pro offers a fully comprehensive service to mortgage brokers.”

The key to the system is that it enables the broker to have a direct relationship with the lenders straightaway and package their own deals, and this unique aspect and revenue earner will surely become a big hit with brokers.
