Thirteen of the industry’s leading bridging lenders have been announced as the speakers at this year’s nationwide Bridging Broker Roadshow, hosted by the Association of Bridging Professionals (AOBP).
Presenting across ten sessions in five UK locations during September, the short term providers - comprised of 13 AOBP Affiliate Lenders - are as follows:
• Masthaven Bridging Finance
• West One Loans
• Omni Capital
• Cheval Bridging Finance
• Lowry Capital
• Goldentree Financial Services
• Precise Mortgages
• Lancashire Mortgage Corporation
• Dragonfly Property Finance
• United Trust Bank
• Central Bridging Loans
• Bridgebank Capital
• Alternative Bridging Corporation (ABC)
The lenders will be covering a number of topics in their presentations aimed at educating the intermediary community, including: the legal and compliance aspects of bridging finance, how to properly present a deal, securing development, land and auction finance, and the all-important role of regulation within the sector.
With the aim being to encourage discussion amongst attendees, there will be opportunity to find out exactly what makes a successful bridging deal, directly from those who have the experience, enthusiasm and know-how.
Commenting on the announcement, Jonathan Newman, Chairman of the AOBP and Senior Partner of Brightstone Law LLP, said: “This is an exciting initiative for the AOBP. We are all looking forward to meeting with new faces and being able to demonstrate what this organisation and our members bring to the bridging industry.
“These road shows will involve key speakers who know and lead the industry. The motivation is to educate and inform, dealing with topics as diverse as regulation, deal presentation, auction finance and development funding.
“We believe the road shows will be valuable to newer entrants to the market as well as those looking to update and improve market awareness.”
Alan Cleary, Managing Director of Precise Mortgages and Roadshow speaker, added: “We are looking forward to supporting the AOBP educational road shows and raising awareness amongst intermediaries in our speaker slots at the Newcastle and Birmingham events.
“I’m sure that the events will also provide a great opportunity for us to have one-on-one discussions with brokers to build on our existing relationships, listen to feedback and continue to support intermediaries as much as we can.”
