Aldermore appoints a pivotal strategist

British challenger bank Aldermore has appointed a new head of strategy, based in its London offices, who will report directly to Phillip Monks, CEO.

Mark Robson, 31, will be responsible for identifying, analysing and making recommendations for the Bank’s strategic market expansion and development.

Mark joins Aldermore from the Bank of Ireland where he was the Strategy Manager to the UK CEO, and prior to which, he was a Manager with L.E.K. Consulting.  

Phillip Monks, CEO, said:  “Aldermore has aggressive growth plans, as well as a clear vision of how the Bank will evolve and Mark will be key in delivering a strategic path which will contribute to our success. We are delighted to welcome Mark to Aldermore, especially at a time when the Bank has such a breadth of strategies and plans to implement.”

Mark has more than nine years’ experience of corporate strategy at blue-chip firms.
