An FSA-regulated bridging lender has announced to B&C that it has opened a new office in Mayfair, London, which will be used for its sales and marketing team.
Lancashire-based Mayfair Bridging, which launched in February 2008, has opened the doors of its new premises at 1 Berkeley Street, Mayfair, W1J 8DJ, but its Head Office will still remain in Preston, Lancashire.
The Mayfair office will also act as the base for a new product, which the lender intends to launch specifically for IFAs in the New Year.
Director Shoaib Bux said: "With our company known as Mayfair, it made sense once we opened our London office to open in Mayfair itself, one of the most prestigious locations in the capital."
Fellow Director Yasin Patel added: “The new office will help us to connect better with our London brokers and intermediary partners. We have seen a lot of the financial elite opening offices in Mayfair in recent times and our new office is located around the corner from Park Lane, opposite the Ritz hotel.
“Having two locations, one in the north and one in the south, we are now positioned strategically to help us lend throughout England and Wales. We are one of very few active bridgers lending outside of the M25.
“We are making very positive progress in the bridging market and believe 2013 will be very exciting."
Mayfair Bridging became FSA regulated in October 2011, enabling the lender to expand its product portfolio to offer bridging loans on owner-occupied property.
