As 2012 draws to a close, Bridging & Commercial hosted its biannual Directors’ Lunch on Wednesday 5th December at the Belvedere restaurant in Holland Park, London.
Set among frosty greenery and adventurous peacocks, the event saw 46 of the short term sector’s finest meet at the London restaurant to eat, drink and be merry before leaving to recuperate from the rigours of the industry over Christmas.
The guest list, which included a number of prominent lenders, packagers, brokers, valuers and conveyancers, represented a select cross-section of the bridging and commercial industries.
After an informal reception in the stunningly decorated dining room, hosts Mo Mulki, CEO of Bridging & Commercial, and Jonathan Newman, Principal Partner at Brightstone Law and sponsor of the event, welcomed the assembled diners to the event, at the end of a very eventful and increasingly busy year for the industry.
The Chief Executive of the National Association of Finance Brokers, Adam Tyler, also took a quick opportunity to offer his thanks to those in attendance for their support of the trade body over the past year.
A relaxed and friendly atmosphere ensured that conversation remained free-flowing and fun, though time was made to tie up deals, introduce leads and get the latest news from across the sector.
The pops of champagne bottles and Christmas crackers ensured that the festive spirit was felt by everyone, even if the ever-fashionable paper hats only appeared briefly on the heads of bridging’s brightest.
