p>As of late Regentsmead has been making noticeably more appearances at various networking events around the country. Most recently it was in Nottingham at the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers’ (NACFB) speed networking event. B&C spoke to Regentsmead’s CEO, James Bloom, who told us more…

The format of the NACFB event proved very successful as we were able to meet with an array of brokers - and acted as a great warm up for the event we are running in conjunction with the Association on May 1st. Each broker had a ten minute slot to learn more about Regentsmead and discuss potential new deals which shows the strength of a speed networking format.

The format provided a more intimate and personal setting for prospective brokers. As well as four members of the Regentsmead team, other notable attendees included several members of the NACFB and its Chairman Marcus Grimshaw. Marcus contributed with a presentation of the NACFB and the new measures it is taking, particularly in lobbying member interests to various high profile bodies, not least of them the Government departments.

Regentsmead’s recent travels have taken us far and wide. In addition to last weeks LPP panel meeting which was previously reported in B&C, the team returned to Holborn as Metro Bank hosted a business breakfast. This event had a range of attendees from different professions including lawyers and accountants. Regentsmead, however, turned out to be the only lender present. This event lasted two hours and allowed Metro Bank a chance to present its brand as well as the opportunity for plenty of networking amongst financial professionals based in the City. Again, this opportunityt proved to be great preparation for our seminar in May while providing plenty of good ideas as to what makes a successful event.

Regentsmead has a wide-ranging programme for 2013 to ensure that brokers are constantly educated about the market-leading service that we have to offer. As well as attending several further NACFB events, Regentsmead has two exhibitions planned for the year, as well as running our own inaugural seminar.

We have seen a massive upturn in enquiries this year and getting out to see our broker partners is paramount to our mutual success. As well as having BDMs out on the road, the events we are involved in this year will enable a large amount of face-to-face contact with our broker partners;these are very exciting times.
