Liz Overs, former Regional Business Development Manager at Shawbrook Bank, has announced the launch of her new commercial finance brokerage, which has been in its soft-launch phase since June 2012.

Boudicca Financial Solutions arranges finance for commercial and buy-to-let mortgages, bridging loans and development and invoice finance.

Liz took the difficult decision to leave Shawbrook, after nearly ten years of service, in 2012 due to family reasons. Since then she has been busy building the foundations for her new business venture.

Prior to joining Shawbrook Bank in March 2003, Liz was a BDM at e.surv Surveyors.

Boudicca has good, solid relationships with a wide variety of lenders across the whole commercial market, both with more traditional High Street Banks, as well as the challenger banks, such as Shawbrook, Aldermore, InterBay, as well as other specialists.

This ensures that Boudicca has the full package of solutions to offer clients, which Liz says is vital, especially for customers with a large portfolio of properties, as it might be necessary to split the portfolio between a number of lenders to achieve the right solution for the client.

Based in Essex, Boudicca boasts strong customer relationships both locally and nationally. A very active member in her own community, Liz is already well known among local retailers and property investors. Also, after working for one of the market leading commercial lenders for 10 years, Liz has the advantage of being well recognised in the industry on a national level.

Liz brings to Boudicca over 15 years industry experience, which means she knows what clients want from a broker.

Liz said: “Clients are looking to work with a company who have an open, honest approach to doing business. What I mean by this is clients want to work with someone who is prepared to spend time getting to know them, their business proposition and the things that are important to them. Every client has a different need and it is our job to first identify what that is, and then do whatever is necessary to achieve the right solution.”

Boudicca has already secured finance for clients ahead of its official launch.
