Prior to the move, Colin Sanders CEO of Omni Capital said: “This move reflects the success we have enjoyed over the past year and our intentions for the year ahead.

“Ever-conscious of costs and the need for long term sustainability, we had nevertheless reached the point in our planned expansion where we needed additional skilled resource and better operational premises.”

The spacious vicinity is certainly fit with space for the firm to grow into, with its 4,300 sq foot of floor space. The firm is currently recruiting to be able to move the role of its Financial Controller in-house as it previously sourced a member from the CPC Group.

The property finance team moved into the new space on the last week of January alongside Omni Capital’s new Retail Finance business, which was launched in May last year.

January brought a tonne of success for the firm, including the landmark £127 million bridge, the official launch of a development arm and new recruits. The firm also recently announced a target of lending £1 billion by the end of 2014.

Colin Sanders said: “It’s been a good start to the year, now we just have to keep up the service levels and keep with the tempo with who we are seeing, while making sure we are seeing the right kinds of people.”

Earlier this month Omni Capital announced the launch of its high-end development product for London and the South East. The firm is said to have three live deals at the moment.

Colin then went on to discuss Omni Capital’s funding from the CPC group and the record breaking bridge on a property neighbouring Buckingham Palace. He said: “The way the £127 million deal was funded sets us apart from everybody else.”

The firm’s property finance division recruited two new members - John Craig and Stephen Palfreeman - to its sales team at the time of the move.
