Link Lending streamlines business for 2009

Leading short term finance company, Link Lending, has taken the decision to streamline their business to suit the present economic conditions.

They will be making a small number of job cuts from their bridging finance operation, whilst their secured loans arm, Link Loans, will be expanding its distribution.

Link Lending, also the winner of the 2008 Bridging & Commercial Service Excellence Award, have said that the firm’s prospects for this year are looking good and that they will be on hand to help brokers survive the uncertain market conditions.

Managing director of Link Lending, John Maclean says: “We have funding lines in place for bridging and have recently expanded our distribution of secured loans. We are cutting costs in the business to ensure that we are the right size of organisation for the current market and remain focused on carefully safeguarding our very high levels of service offered to the intermediary market.”

Mr Maclean went on to say: “We are also in advanced talks with senior debt providers and have agreed new investment into the business from a significant new investor.”
