Here at Blemain Group we’re celebrating our 40th birthday with a wave of optimism. Having battled through one of the worst recessions in history, we’re delighted to have come through it as a leading lender. And while we’re extremely proud to look back at what we’ve achieved over the past four decades, it’s the future we’re most excited about.
Recent statistics indicate we’re already on track for a record year - our lending book has increased significantly in the last few years, up by 240 per cent in July 2014 compared to July 2012. We intend to double our lending over the next five years.
With the recovery of the UK economy in full swing and increasing confidence and growth aspirations amongst British businesses, many will require our support more than ever. We’re looking forward to harnessing this optimism to develop our business and pursue ambitious growth aspirations.
Of course we can’t achieve this by standing still – 40 years of industry experience and knowledge has taught us that innovation is the key to meeting the demands of our dynamic marketplace and fulfilling the changing needs of our clients.
To do this, we need the right people. Blemain Group is built around the talents and expertise of our employees and we know that they’re the foundation for future success. We were delighted that in 2014, two of our team were recognised as leading players in their field, winning Underwriter of the Year and the Best Bridging BDM of the Year accolade at the Bridging and Commercial Awards 2014.
The team at Blemain Group has grown over 50 per cent in the last five years and we’ve moved into new, larger offices to enable further growth. We’re delighted to be welcoming new, talented and enthusiastic colleagues to the business on an almost weekly basis.
