The site, CoHub, was recently created after former MoneySupermarket Relationship Manager Philip Brennan felt the business world was under-served when it came to online comparison.
Additionally, industry distributor Finance 4 Business has been selected as CoHub’s Bridging, Commercial Mortgages and Development partner.
After spending three months travelling around the country and speaking with partners, Philip Brennan managed to develop the platform’s collection of products, which includes bridging finance, commercial mortgages, unsecured loans, invoice finance, asset finance and merchant cash advance.
Philip told B&C that more lenders are set to join imminently.
“Co.hub was created to give SME's a new level of understanding about the choices available to them in terms of funding,” he said.
Philip added: “The majority of businesses still go to their own banks when looking for finance and are unaware of the vast array of alternative solutions and other bank offerings available in the market.
“The last two years has seen an array of new entrants filling the gaps with innovative solutions which the banks have left open. Businesses now more than ever need to make sure they are making the most of their finances. So Cohub has created a comparison service which allows users to filter the results to show them bespoke options suited to their requirements.”
Also commenting on the new site, Russell Martin, Director of Finance 4 Business said: “Finance 4 Business have worked very closely with CoHub from inception to launch.
“I am delighted that Finance 4 Business were selected as a partner of CoHub following a thorough review of the broker market. The blend of expertise from both parties has created a powerful force that will provide an excellent experience for the end beneficiary. The improvement of lead quality has been very good with CoHub, continually striving to provide the perfect client journey.”
In the near future, CoHub has plans to create further comparison journeys for other finance-related products, with the objective to become the one place for businesses to come to and find the best deals for their businesses.
Philip added: “Over the next 6 months, we are planning to expand Cohub to include business areas such as current accounts, insurance, energy and international money transfers. Our aim is to become the sole hub where businesses can come to find the best deals for everything they require; from finance to energy.
“Being a small company ourselves allows us to draw from our own experiences and our singular focus of business to business comparison means we advantage over a majority of our competitors, and we have a team with over 25 years of experience in comparison.
“We utilise all of this to give our visitors the best experience possible and we will continuously push and enhance our offering so we can be sure we are leading the market in business comparison and are finding our users the best deals.”
