On the 8th of January next year, the petition application will be heard at the Peterborough County Court in relation to the Cambridgeshire-based advisor firm, John Wheeler Accountancy of The Barn Duck End, Offord Road, Graveley.

The firm’s services include advice upon cash-flow forecasting, business start-ups, stakeholder management and assisting with creditors and lenders.

The winding up petition was originally presented on the 26th November 2014 by Lee James Cotton of Robert Day and Company Limited.

Petitions to wind up are part of the winding-up by the corporate insolvency process and can be made if a company can’t pay debts of more than £750.

Also required in the petition, is evidence to the court that money is owed.

If the petition is successful, the court will issue a winding-up order, which means the company will be closed and its assets sold to pay its debts.

Any person intending to appear on the hearing of the petition must give notice to do so to the petitioner or his solicitor by 4pm on the 7th January 2015.
