< A law firm has seen three of its staff members banished by the regulator all on the same day.
Three non-qualified employees of commercial property law firm, Souleiman G.A Solicitors Palmers Green, London, have been banned by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) after the Adjudicator found them all “undesirable” to be involved in a law firm, as a result of each of their convictions.
The employees of the London-based law firm, Furrah Kosimov, Cenk Guclu and Zafer Altinbas, had a section 43 order made against each of them by the regulator on the 3rd of November.
The law firm, which traded in commercial property, residential conveyancing and residential landlord and tenant issues.
Mr Guclu and Mr Altinbas’s orders were made to start from the 17th of November while Mr Kosimov’s order came into effect yesterday.
The regulator stated that the trio are not to be involved in a legal practice unless SRA conditions set are met.
The order means that all three men are prohibited from being employed or remunerated by a solicitor or a solicitor’s employee in connection with their practice, as well as being banned from being employed or remunerated by a recognised body, to be its manager, or have any interest in the body, unless the society has given its permission.
