Paul O’Hara, who has 18 years’ experience of underwriting and management experience within the financial services industry, will offer further support to broker partners across the residential investment specialist team.
Paul, who also holds various senior underwriting qualifications, will start to work with brokers immediately and is excited by this new challenge.

Having previously worked within prime and sub-prime lending as well as equity release, Paul’s expertise is seen as a valuable asset to Shawbrook. He has operated as a Senior Underwriter and Operations Manager at lenders such as Stonehaven UK, Platform Home Loans and Barclays Bank Woolwich.
