The FCA have said that Wealth Manager PwC may only provide sponsor services solely to companies listed or applying for a listing on the Official List in the listing category premium listing or premium listing.
PwC which is authorised and regulated by the FCA applied to the engage the limit and restrict the services to which their sponsor approval relates.
This is so that it may provide sponsor services only to companies listed or applying to listing on the Official List in the listing category premium listing, a closed-ended investment fund, or premium listing, open-ended investment companies.
The FCA notice to the ‘powerhouse of commercial enterprise’ is part of a sponsor supervisory process and is not of a disciplinary nature.
