The sell-out event held by Regentsmead and Metro Bank hosted between 100 and 120 attendees at the bank’s headquarters in Holborn.

While discussing methods of capital injection, Metro Bank’s CE, Vernon Hill stated: “As your deposit base grows you have to increase your capital either by earning money or raising more money,” adding “we are actually going to raise some more money next year [by] probably listing [in] 2016.”
Later adding: “We plan to list on the London Exchange next summer.”

This event followed hot on the heels of the pair’s first collaborated evening in December, where it was revealed that the duo are exploring new avenues.
Opening the event was Regentsmead’s CE James Bloom, who was thrilled with the evening’s turnout last Thursday.
“We were delighted to be able to hold our second event with our partners Metro Bank, to share the stage with their founder Vernon Hill made the event even more special for us,” said James.

“This was a sell-out event with standing room only and we presume this was to hear Vernon speak rather than me!
“We share Metro’s vision that the customer should be a fan and we have been working on this basis for 80 years which is why we do so much repeat business. We are sure everyone who attended the event thoroughly enjoyed it and we will be announcing further events with Metro in due course.”
Last year, Regentmead funded the development of The Astbury in Shropshire- home of the 2016 Ryder Cup Captain, simultaneously helping Judas Priest rock star, KK Downing, win three major property gongs.
