East Midlands-based lender Central Bridging has appointed Funding 365’s previous Head of Broker Sales.

Brian joins Central from Funding 365 where he spent the past year expanding its broker business and its loan book.

One of the areas of finance Brian is looking to emphasize to brokers is Central’s expanding development finance products.

Brian has known Managing Director John Clifford for a number of years and is looking forward to teaming up with him and the lender’s other key members once again for this new project.

“Over the last few years I have watched John and his Team evolve from a highly successful brokerage into a market leading specialist lender with a unique proposition. This transformation has hugely impressed me and the chance to join the Team and play a part in taking Central Bridging to the next level was simply too good to miss." said Brian.

“Our dedicated in house Project Manager has vast experience and a passion for helping clients from ‘application’ through to the ‘completion’ of their renovation and construction projects.”

“He is also massively experienced in land acquisitions and planning advice. As a consequence we can consider a very broad range of development scenarios. Whilst we prefer our development loans to be in either London or the East Midlands enabling site visits as required, we will consider ‘exceptional’ projects elsewhere in England.”

Central recently secured substantial private and bank backed funding lines which means it now has over £100 million of potential funding.

Central Bridging has almost 75 years’ experience in most forms of lending and offers first, second and third charge loans as well as funding refurbishment through ground.
