With the General Election on the horizon, the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers has noticed a level of consensus amongst brokers …

The NACFB is hoping that its imminent Commercial Finance Expo can act as a catalyst to increase lending to small to medium businesses across the UK.

The body noted: “Amongst the debate between rival political parties right now, one thing everyone agrees on is that the economy needs to grow.

“Favourable tax terms and targeted public sector spending may be part of the answer, but most of all, money needs to be flowing from lenders to small businesses.”

The event’s exhibitor list, which once again sold out months before doors open, will feature 120 lenders who will be able to offer advice and guidance on funding to business owners and people with an interest in commercial finance.

The expo, due to be held at Birmingham’s NEC on June 17, is a unique industry event designed to encourage lending to SMEs.

NACFB bosses now hope that the expo can create some long lasting relationships within the commercial finance world as well as, more importantly, spearheading a much needed increase in business lending.

The association has done its best to accommodate with a two storey stand being built and a double decker bus being hired for visitors, further to this, it has also hired out a full size conference theatre.

Doors open for the biggest industry event of the year at 9:30 am on Wednesday June 17.

Tickets are free, but as of now, all exhibitor stands are sold out.

Last year more than 1300 visitors attended on the day so the event is sure to be a must for anyone with an interest in commercial finance lending.

Interested delegates can register online at www.commercialfinanceexpo.co.uk.
