Daryl Norkett joins Shawbrook from Barclays where he spent five years working with start-ups across Norwich, with the last two years managing a portfolio of SMEs in and around Ipswich.
As well as offering support for brokers and property professionals across East Anglia, Daryl will be working alongside the commercial team to ensure the process of applying for and completing on commercial loans is as smooth and efficient as possible.
Commenting on his new role, Daryl said East Anglia was a great area for Shawbrook and he was really excited to expand the bank’s presence across the region.
“I can’t wait to meet our existing brokers and new potential broker partners, and learn more about what’s happening on the ground with business owners and professional property investors,” said Daryl.
Karen Bennett, Sales and Marketing Director of Commercial Mortgages at Shawbrook, referred to Daryl as a “fantastic addition” to the team.
“As a Business Development Manager, Daryl will be working with new and existing brokers to identify where we can work together with the appropriate products and guidance,” said Karen.
“Daryl will also be working with our internal teams to continue to improve our application process and provide further support for our broker partners.”
