Bank of England statistics has revealed Aldermore is among the top two lenders to SMEs in the Funding for Lending Scheme…
The bank has been in the top three lenders to SMEs for the past six consecutive quarters and these figures revealed that Aldermore has lent £122m as part of the scheme.
In total, Aldermore has lent a total of £254m to SMEs through the scheme in 2015 something which Carl D’Ammassa, Group Managing Director of Business Finance, is delighted with.
“This highlights our commitment to helping small and medium-sized businesses to grow and demonstrates the importance of newer lenders in the UK,” said Carl.
“We know how important SMEs are to the continuing economic recovery and it is imperative that banks focus on providing flexible finance for SMEs, as well as wider support in the form of understanding individual business needs and good customer service.
“We pride ourselves on listening to our SME customers and giving them the support they need to invest in and grow their business.”
