The group will consider any amount of adverse, all income sources including self-cert and DSS benefits, and any property type, including non-standard constructions.

FSAS are a Dunfermline based firm that achieved network status in 2002. Since this time they have continued to expand and now have members and affiliated firms throughout Scotland and the UK.

Commenting on the partnership between the two organisations Gary Bailey, director of Cheshire Mortgage Corporation said: “We are delighted that FSAS members will have access to our responsive range of residential mortgages and bridging products. Cheshire Mortgage Corporation maintains a strong appetite for new business and we are confident that our unrestrictive criteria will prove to be of great benefit to FSAS members.”

Alan Pinkerton, managing director at FSAS said: “We have always focused on providing our members with a quality, no frills service and this includes giving them access to products that cater for needs outside of mainstream lending. Cheshire Mortgage Corporation serves a wide variety of niche residential lending requirements and as such they are the ideal panel addition for the current climate, allowing our members to maximise on the opportunities available to them and assist more clients. I look forward to developing the relationship between our companies and helping our members to reap the benefits of this new partnership.”
