< Preston-based bridging lender Mayfair Bridging has merged with the Amicus brand.
Mayfair Bridging, which was acquired by London-based award-winning bridging lender Amicus Finance in an exclusive revealed by B&C in November last year, has merged with the Amicus brand this week.
Since its takeover, Mayfair Bridging continued to operate under its own brand while leveraging the additional funding capacity made available through the buy-out.
Commenting on the rebrand, Yasin Patel Divisional Director of Amicus said: “(Divisional Director) Shoaib (Bux) and I, together with our growing team in Preston, feel that, to maximise our growth plans, being part of the Amicus Group would better support our ambitions.
“Under the banner of the current Bridging Lender of the Year, we are part of a team covering the UK (except NI) that is dedicated to providing our broker relationships with innovative solutions to their client’s requirements and the highest level of service."
Amicus, which was previously known as Capital Bridging, rebranded to its current name in February this year to better support its strategy and to broaden its lending proposition.
Amicus saw its annual performance grow by a staggering 160% last year, and in August announced a landmark £100m securitisation which is completely made up of short term property loans.
