p>Mint Bridging has continued its rapid growth with the appointment of a new business development manager (BDM).

Sophie Kettle who launched her career as a mortgage broker nearly a decade ago, joins Mint as its southern based BDM.

She worked with McCurrach for four years and worked in London and the South East before moving to Bridgebank last year.

Mint has also hired Jackie Woodhead to work in the lender’s underwriting team.

Jackie has 12 years underwriting experience with the Woolwich, GMAC, Bridgebank Capital and Blemain Finance.

Andrew Lazare, Managing Director of Mint Bridging, said he was delighted to add Sophie and Jackie to its expanding staff.

“We have built a tremendous underwriting team to be able to cater for our growth,” said Andrew.

“There is now unprecedented demand for our products and services, lending more this month (December 2015) alone in volume and completion numbers than the whole of 2013.”

Mint exclusively revealed to B&C last year that it had appointed John Buckley and Richard Showman to its underwriting team as the company expanded its core team by 25%.

Paul Wertheim, Operations Director, added that Mint had experienced a record year following several new product launches including its 80% LTV which debuted in November.

“Mint’s shown our personal and hands on approach has served us and our clients well,” said Paul.

“As a result, the demand in business correlates with our need to rapidly hire exceptional team members.”
