The announcement follows news that the specialist bridging lender saw a fourfold increase in completed business in 2015 and appointed a new business development manager towards the end of last year.
Narinder Khattoare, Sales Director at Alpha Bridging, said joining the ASTL was a move that the lender had been planning for some time.
“With our track record and achievements in 2015 and our plans for this year, it was a logical move to seek to become involved with the trade body which has done so much to promote the industry and build confidence among brokers and clients,” said Narinder.
“We want to play our part in helping to provide brokers with a strong sense of an industry which is united in setting the highest standards which is good for clients and the industry in general.”
Benson Hersch, CEO of the ASTL, added: “We welcome any lender that is open to helping to progress and promote the positive reputation of the bridging industry both through what they say and how they behave.
“The bridging industry is a growing one and it is essential that it grows in the right way with lenders that are ethical, open and transparent with both brokers and borrowers.
“It is the mission of the ASTL and its members to provide confidence to all those who transact business with them.”
