A short-term lender has recruited an ex-banker as its senior underwriter.

Sue Coyle joins the lender with 30 years of experience in the financial services sector across the corporate and high-net-worth sectors.

Claire Barrington-Jones, Senior Vice President for Group Sales, said: “We are delighted that Sue is joining the Borro team.

“She has a wealth of experience and has had exposure to so many areas of the property lending market.

Sue has worked for a number of high-profile lenders including Handelsbanken, National Australia Bank, Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Last month Borro announced it had raised funds for a client who needed £100,000 to pay for legal fees to fight Hollywood filmmaker George Lucas.
