Challenger bank director to step down from board




OneSavings Bank has announced that one of its directors will be stepping down from the board at the end of this year.

p>Malcolm McCaig has taken the decision to give notice after seven years as Independent Non-Executive Director with the challenger bank to focus on his other non-executive roles. 

Malcolm joined Kent Reliance Building Society as a director in 2009 and appointed to the board of OneSavings Bank in the following year.
 
He was chairman of Kent Reliance Building Society and subsequently OneSavings Bank and Kent Reliance Provident Society until 2012. 
 
"I am proud to have been able to help guide the bank on its journey to being the successful FTSE 250 business it is today,” said Malcolm. 
 
“I wish the board and management all the best in continuing to build on the success to date."
 
Mike Fairey, Chairman, added: "I would like to thank Malcolm for the enormous contribution he has made to the success of OneSavings Bank over the past seven years, and wish him well in all his future ventures.”
