Peter Cartwright has left the the challenger bank’s board as a non-executive director, where it was announced he would not be standing for re-election at Aldermore’s annual general meeting next month.
Peter was appointed as a director due to the terms of the company’s relationship agreement with its principal shareholders, the AnaCap Funds, which are not proposing to appoint a replacement non-executive director to the board at this current time.
Glyn Jones, Chairman of Aldermore Group PLC, stated: “As a founding member of the original board [at] Aldermore, Peter has played an integral part in supporting the Group’s growth ambitions, culminating in our successful admission to the FTSE 250.
“The board would like to thank Peter for his significant contribution over the past seven years and wish him well for the future."
Aldermore also confirmed that Neil Cochrane will remain on the board as the AnaCap Funds’ representative.
The AnaCap Funds recently announced it was selling its SME insurance distributor just three years after investing in the firm.
