The lender’s CEO, Craig Donaldson, was ranked number one in Glassdoor’s most highly rated UK CEO’s for 2016, while Metro also won five awards at the Moneywise Customer Service Awards.

The challenger bank scooped the Most Trusted Financial Provider, Most Trusted Current Account Provider, Most Trusted Savings and Cash Isa Provider, Best Current Account Provider for Branch Service and Best Provider of Children’s Savings Account.

Craig received a 99% approval rating when being named highest rated CEO and said it was a real honour to be recognised.
