Having worked for Fortwell for over five years, where he held roles such as sales manager and more recently in business development, Jim has now moved on to another role at West One.
Commenting on Jim's departure, Colin Sanders, CEO of Fortwell Capital said: "I can confirm that Jim has recently left Fortwell Capital to join another lending firm. His reasons for moving are his own and not ours to discuss on his behalf. But we understand and respect them.
"'Seamus' has been a fantastic part of our team and remains a close personal friend to many of us.
"He departs with our deep thanks and very best wishes for the future."
Jim has also previously worked in management roles at Money Partners, GE Money Home Lending and GE Capital.
In January, West One Loans appointed Paul Simpson as Director of Lending Operations and Luke O’Sullivan as Sales Manager.
West One Loans completed close to £400m of lending in 2015 and expects to either match or better that figure this year.
