Hampshire Trust announces plans for HQ expansion

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has announced plans to relocate to larger headquarters.

The bank will move from its current 7,500 sq ft headquarters at 131 Finsbury Pavement to a newly refurbished 21,000 sq ft office at 55 Bishopsgate in early 2017.

Mark Sismey-Durrant, CEO of Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “Next year’s move is a significant step in the journey of the bank.

“Our next headquarters will provide us with significant room for expansion and help us to continue on our strong growth trajectory.”

The announcement comes just weeks after HTB announced pre-tax profits of £1.3m for the first half of 2016.

The bank also saw a 25% increase in staff numbers.

Last week, HTB completed a £550,000 loan at 62.85% LTV just five working days after the decision in principle was made.

The loan enabled a professional landlord to refinance one of his buy-to-let properties to pay off a loan and raise funds for further investment.

Mark added: “As we recently announced, we have transitioned into profit, we are now focused on building on this success and ensuring we are well positioned to make the most of future opportunities.”
