RateSetter to speak at Think Global 2016

RateSetter has been invited to speak at an event focusing on international trade following the UK's decision to leave the European Union.

Think Global 2016 hosted by World First will take place on Tuesday 11th October 2016 at One Marylebone in central London and brings together a range of prominent experts and entrepreneurs to share their experiences with businesses looking to expand abroad.

Rhydian Lewis, founder and CEO of peer-to-peer lender RateSetter, will be sharing his insights in a panel discussion on how businesses can access the right financial products to help fuel growth internationally.

He will be joined by Gordon Welsh, head of business group at UK Export Finance, the UK government’s export credit agency.

Other speakers include; Mark Garnier MP, parliamentary under secretary of state for international trade; Julien Callede, co-founder and COO of MADE.com; Adam Tavener, founder of Alternative Business Funding; Cecile Reinaud, founder of Seraphine and Gori Yahaya, head of training for the Digital Garage from Google.

“Think Global 2016 will provide inspiration, confidence and practical advice to enable businesses to make a success of international trade,” explained Jonathan Quin, CEO of World First.

“The agenda for the day is set to cover all angles of exporting from those who have reached global success, to providing advice for those that are scaling up and looking to expand further overseas, or export for the first time.

“We are confident that the programme of speakers confirmed for the event will offer a great platform to ignite these discussions and are thrilled to have such authoritative and high-profile names attending.”

Additional speakers and the full agenda will be revealed in the coming weeks and you can register by going to www.worldfirst.com/uk/think-global
